Not our best half by any means. Secure the rebounds, don't foul jump shooters, don't rush your shots. All will be well.

Alright. So we just played like **** for a half and are down 2. They have a guy hotter than hot, 21 first half points on 8-12 shooting. We are tied in rebounding.

But we know why we are down. We played horribly on offense, with our "Jack up bad 3s and Carter-balls" offense. We have given BYU all sorts of extra opportunities off unforced TOs, missed rebounds, and unnecessary fouls. Early has been nonexistent, Carter has been too existent, and we have yet to have a Coleby or Lufile sighting.

On the other hand, we held BYU decently well after their first 19 point barrage. Cotton has been a man on both ends, and we are doing well when we can pass the ball inside to anyone but Carter. If fans can see that, Coach can see that. I think we'll see a lot of possessions where Early is taking those inside possessions that are going to Carter, and we'll have more assisted 3s instead of pull-up, drive-by TOs from the 3PT line.

I'd like to see a lot more driving, a lot more interior shots (NOT Carter), less Carter, and a few called plays for Baker. Our defense has been alright, but we can't let Carlino or Haws get going early.
