I thought they were GMC's engineer's school, but at any rate, they are now up 9 on the Redbirds with 16 minutes to go.

Is ESPN wrong? They have ISUr up 43-38 w/15:42 to go.

Not to anyone in particular, let's just keep it in mind.
Sorry. I will always relish in the defeats of sCUm and KU. And I'll let people know about it. That won't have ANY effect on how our team plays at all whatsoever.

In case you didn't notice, half the fun of sports is watching teams/programs/fans you hate lose. This isn't church. This is basketball.

LOLOLOLOLOL at sCUm and KU dropping turds. I HEART IT!

Where are you getting this Royal? I'm looking at ESPN's scoreboard and it has the Redturds up. I'm really hoping ESPN is wrong and you are right.

I did notice, but it's a matter of opinion. I don't get half my fun of sports by watching teams/programs/fans I hate lose - maybe 10% for me.

It isn't church - It is basketball - yep it's basketball.

The MVC scoreboard I had loaded on ESPN had the teams flipped. After I refreshed it put ISU on the bottom.

I believe that's where Lambo got his degree. It's somewhere in the Bay area.

Speaking of which, here is your friendly reminder to support volleyball today at Valley finals.

                        From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonoma_State_University
Sonoma State University (SSU, Sonoma State, and Sonoma) is a public comprehensive university which is part of the 23 campus California State University (CSU) system. The main campus is located in Rohnert Park, California, United States approximately 10 miles (16 km) south of Santa Rosa and 50 miles (80 km) north of San Francisco. The university is one of the smallest of the 23 CSU campuses in California.
Elizabeth Field is from that (Petaluma-Santa Rosa) area; she is from Sabastopol, if I recall correctly. Lamb has a strong association with the Santa Rosa area and I think we will continue to get NorCal recruits (e.g. Taylor Brownlee) because of him. The area is really nice; lots of wine country, the Russian River area, etc.

ADDED: My mistake; Elizabeth Field is from Windsor, Calif. This is on 101 and I must have driven through there hundreds of times on my way north to the best part of California. :) Sabastopol is a nice place; I suggest that you take Hwy 1 (and then 101) from the Monterey Bay Aquarium north to Crescent City and return to San Fran on 101. (Calistoga and Covelo were frequent destinations when I was a kid. Later San Carlos, Redwood City, Saratoga, Palo Alto, etc. were destinations. Never Oakland!!! Go Chiefs!!!! :D)

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

The Fighting Sommeliers I believe. They may play so-so basketball but can pair a fine Bordeaux for your nachos.

                          • Today is full of games with teams in our schedule, and a lot of them are very winnable. Today could wind up pretty good if everyone takes care of business.

                            Evansville (5-1) has Ohio (5-1)
SIU (2-5) has Chicago State (2-4)
Tennessee (4-2) has Wake Forest (6-1)
                            Will & Mary (3-3) has Howard (2-6)
Ind St (4-2) has Pepperdine (5-2)
Drake (4-1) has Northern Arizona (2-4)
Bradley (4-2) has UT Pan Am (4-4)
                            WKU (3-2) has E Illinois (3-3)
BYU (5-2) has Utah St (5-0)
                            Swomo (6-0) has Virginia (6-1)
Tulsa (1-5) has Green Bay (3-2)
ILL St (2-4) has San Fran (5-3)

Lots of stuff to follow and while some will be long shots, there is reason enough to believe our teams can win every one of these. That would be something.

                            • Wow, I didn't realize that Tulsa was struggling so much. Was this expected? Or will Danny Boy be back at KU sometime soon?

The ORU loss is going to look a lot worse at the end of the season as they lost their main offensive weapon. Losing to WSU, Creighton, and MSU isn't bad at all. Losing to TCU is not good (even though they are technically a BCS team). Tulsa will be 150 type RPI team at the end of the season. Danny has these guys on the right path, but not back on a path to the team they were in the 80s and 90s.
