Either it's a foul or it isn't. Duke defender absolutely manhandled the Vermont kid, keeping him from going to the basket. There was a soft call (right call, but soft) against Vermont with 5 seconds left. I call BS.

Northern Iowa is always just going to be an average team, that Sweet 16 was a total fluke. UNI fans have been saying "next year" for the past few years, but I've now realized there is no "next year," UNI is going to be mediocre for the rest of Jacobson's tenure and then awful once he leaves.

UNI fans are all excited because they are so athletic this year. That's how unathletic they have been, and still are. Washspun is uber athletic (for a guy 5'11") and Mitchell is, but they are the weakest team in the world. Can they shoot it? Yes, are they well coached? Yes, but are they ever going to do more than pull the occasional upset against a talented team? Nope.
They also have zero depth. They basically play 6 guys against anyone decent.
Do not leave them open from 3, or they'll make you pay.

Let's see how long they'll roll with the "we're an NCAA at-large team because of our schedule" talk this year. Last year, it held on through mid-January.
The key additional point is they're just not an at large team. They are an occasionally dangerous thorn in the side.
