This is glorious. Thank you and please do update it periodically if it's not too much trouble.

Well done. Thanks. But after 1-3 games, all pretty meaningless and not very accurate. Valley sucks. Going to miss the 3 games we played Creighton. Made for a good tune up for the tourney last year. Not going to see that this year.
Afraid it will reflect in our eventual RPI. Though, doesn't matter with us. Valley regular/postseason will be a cakewalk. Impossible to lose 6-7 games this year.

Bad idea and bad karma, Mr. Obvious.

Yes, it would be an upset for the Shocks to lose too many games, barring significant injury or health problems. But I can certainly count six that are lose-able, and that's with everyone still healthy. In any case, saying that something is impossible is almost never smart practice. One might even say that it's impossible for yours to be a prudent prediction at this point.

            It's so obvious you're a sCUm fan.

We'll be fine without those tools. They're tanking after this year anyways.
            Deuces Valley.
            ... No really, deuces.

After time the numbers will be more accurate. Of course in the first few weeks of the season, numbers will be a little skewed but so are stats like shooting percentages, steals per games, etc for players and teams.

Anyways, numbers are updated. WSU's RPI jumps up as does Indiana St and Bradley. Bradley's will get better this week after their Arizona State game.

Davidson, on the other, needs to "step their game up"

Warren Nolan.com has WSU at #20, and the MVC at #7.

Real Time RPI.com has WSU at #21, and the MVC at #7.

Team Rankings.com has WSU at #17, and the MVC at #2.

We probably won't get much help the rest of the way. A win at SLU (60's) should help a little. But TENN and ALA are ranked in the low hundreds and everybody has the SEC ranked behind the MVC by two or three spots. BYU may continue to help us as the WCC is still ranked ahead of the MVC and currently has four teams in the top 35.

The MVC currently has four teams in the top 65, three teams right around 100, and the three Illinois schools are killing the MVC with RPI's firmly in the 200's.

Where things are now and where they'll be are quite different. By the time OOC is over, the Valley will be lucky to be in the top 10 without several upsets. The SEC will not stay behind the MVC. Alabama and Tennessee are definitely top 100 teams, probably top 75 or better. St. Louis will be a top 50 team, maybe even ahead of BYU.

RPI Forecast projects WSU as #11 in team RPI and the MVC as #11 in conference RPI.

Well, maybe I should take back my thoughts on Tennessee. Down 62-51 to UTEP under 5 to go. Dropping this turd will make WU winning at IBA more of a must.

                              Tennessee lost 78-70. That hurts.
