Good interview about halfway. Host segways to Wichita state by saying something like, "And let's talk about the most recent Kansas team to go to the Final 4" then asks King about his thoughts on WSU. He says some nice things about the players and about Marshall. Nice little segment after you get through the KU stuff

He talked about how extremely well coached they are. How all of the coaches at the NCAA tournament who lost to us just shook their head in amazement on how well coached they are, and how he thinks they are definitely capable of a good run in the tourney this year, but who knows what will happen - depends on your draw. Also said Ron Baker is getting a lot of looks by NBA scouts, and that his only real concern about our performance in the tourney is that he expects us to not be challenged at all in the Valley race this year.

He must be forgetting that, in spite of their perennial roles as doormats in the conference, Evansville beat us twice last year. Our only conference losses were not just to Creighton and he can bet that we'll get the best that every team can muster when we face them this year. While we may "run away" with the Valley, I don't expect a lot of easy games.

Forgot to mention that he believes that HCGM Z is one the top 10 or 15 coaches in the country.

I agree. I think last night's game is just the tip of the iceberg. We'll be getting the best of every team in the Valley this year, more so than in years past.
