Yup foul trouble. He was playing against a HOSS who was himself a fouling machine.

I thought Emporia State looked like a pretty decent D-II team. They defeated UMKC the previous night in KC and then opened their official season with a 74-62 win over Rockhurst back in KC on Sunday. Kudos to the Hornets for winning 2 out of 3 over the weekend.

I noticed that ESU is picked 9th by the coaches and 10th by the media in the 14-team MIAA Conference. That must be a very solid D-II basketball conference. Would not surprise me if ESU did better than those pre-season expectations.
