Agree with @Ricky Bobby, we won't know about the stat font size until in the stadium, but this is already worlds ahead of where it was.

POS doesn't have to be as big as it is. So:

    1) Reduce the height of POS.
    2) Add a smallish real time clock at the bottom of that center column once you have reduced POS. The clock can be small (e.g. the size of BONUS).
Agreed with the clock. If they could fit that in there somewhere, they would be given an A+ and a happy face sticker on their homework.

Hopefully, we'll find out if it is as easy to implement for real as it is to do in Photoshop.

I don't think it's PhotoShop. Suellentrop took that picture while at the arena. It looks like the overlay wasn't cleaned up at the time (obvious overlapping "fields") he happened to be there.

Yes, but the screen could be made in Photoshop and posted on the board as just a picture rather than in "scoreboard" mode, if you will. Either way, I expect to see those changes take effect quickly. Hopefully for tomorrow's game.

Looks like they're listening....new layout for the scoreboard looks much cleaner and bolder.

New layout is MUCH better. It would be nice if they could find a place to squeeze in the time of day, but if not, no biggie. Even though they would have been a pain to maintain and keep on right time, I still wish they would have kept the old analog clocks that were up in the rafters before the 2003 renovation.

I had several people mention no real-life clock even before the exhibition game began. Every public building should have a clock, movie theaters, basketball arenas, etc.

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:

When you couple the lack of a clock, the video to get people to stay, no windows, and the flashing pleasing lights on the scoreboard it makes you wonder if they are pumping oxygen into the building and having a cooler sit behind the away bench...

Time for the lecture from little old me. Stop with this thread already, your scoreboard is great. Is it perfect, no, great, yes. It's far and away the best scoreboard in the Valley. Even the scoreboard at Jerryworld isn't perfect.

As for the clock, who goes to a sporting event and thinks about the time of day? Sure, some people are obsessed with the time and others may have something after the game and need to know what time it is, those people should have a watch and the time on their phone, there is no need for a clock. For everybody else, focus on one thing, the game. Forget about everything else and enjoy the game. Who gives a crap if it's 9:15 or 9:45?

You have the best scoreboard in Kansas, Allen and the Octagon of Doom included. Enjoy it, quit nitpicking.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Want to know what time it is?

                          Time to buy a watch.

At the volleyball game tonight they ran a real time clock for a bit on the bottom circular ad runner. So, it is possible - but that space is for paid ads . . .

That video was a fun way to bring home the message to think more about staying and cheering the shocker players instead of getting to your car before the crowd.

Yeah I saw that. Unfortunately it was a digital clock instead of the much classier analog clock that I prefer. These guys just can't get it right. Will probably look into canceling my season tickets if they can't get this fixed.
