Looking for a little help. First shocker basketball season in the KC area. Where are the watch parties and is there anywhere close that gets ks22? Cox wasn't a provider option.

Thanks!!
Watch parties are usually at the Fox and Hounds at 105th and Metcalf. Most of the Cox 22 games are shown on the Metro Sports channel on Time Warner cable.
The Alumni Association hosted watch parties at the fox and hound in OP, like Joco said. There is an alumni group on FB for the KC alums, Brooke who heads up the KC chapter posts frequently to it and lets people know when the watch parties will be.
Any idea whether or not the group is planning to get together this weekend for the game against Missouri State? Schedule still shows it will not be on KS 22, but we would like to watch it with Shocker fans while in KC for the weekend.
Perhaps better suited for another thread, but how bogus is it that as the 7th/8th ranked team we cannot be on TV each game (ESPN3 does not count, IMO)? KS 22 should be committed to showing each game and if ESPN decides to pick it up as part of its national/regional coverage, then great, but fans should not be forced to stream games. B-O-G-U-S!

Brother, I am in agreement. The MVC's television contract leaves an awful lot to be desired and probably will not improve anytime soon. We are about the only thing keeping ESPN from dropping the league altogether.
