I agree that all season ticket holders should buy tickets the day they go on sale. It's not fair that just because you can't contribute millions of dollars that you are yet penalized again and won't have good seats for the Tennessee game. If someone wants to give me the presale code for today I would appreciate it otherwise I will just have to wait until Thursday and hope that there are lower level seats still available.

If tickets sales go very well (I hope), I could see that between early code holders buying additional seats, seats held back by Intrust (club seating), student section, and a liberal passing of codes to non-season ticket holders, the last group with a code might get a surprise as to their choices.
No doubt, this would be a good problem for WSU to have, but one they should address (if it happens at all).

With some posters giving out an earlier Code, that's not exactly fair to those of us who are willing to abide by the rules and wait until it is our day. The Codes are given for a purpose and that is to award those, like you, who have not only been season ticket holders for many, many years, but also those that give a substantial additional donation to SASO. When the earlier codes are circulated to season ticket holders having a later purchase day or even worse to those who are not season ticket holders at all, it leaves the rest of us at a disadvantage. I also have been a ticket holder for at least ten years, but I am willing to wait in line for my chance at tickets. Apparently there are those that feel differently.

Hey I agree with you guys. I haven't passed along the code to anyone. I have no idea what the restrictions are on codes and how they can use them but I would suspect that with the large number of corporate clients, that there just isn't the same demand for the good tickets that there is for regular home games. I know last year I did not use my code, waited until they went on sale to the public (actually way after that date) and still got great tickets.
And I cannot buy tickets at Intrust as good as my tickets at Koch, in my opinion (I don't consider courtside a great ticket by the way).
I don't care how they do it, or what safeguards are put in, you're NEVER going to get over the fact that there are only 7500 lower bowl tickets (of which about 1500+ are seat licensed in) so let's say 6000 available lower bowl tickets and FAR more demand than that for those tickets.

Still lots of good lower bowl seats available. It's handy how they now offer the option to go in and select exactly what seats you want on Selectaseat.com now....not sure how long they've offered that option. I agree the tickets should just be made available to everyone at once. Sure I understand wanting to give the higher donor first dibs, which is fine with me, but it took me all of about 5 minutes to get the "unique" passwords for all 4 days.

Seriously. I can't believe all this clamoring for lower bowl seats like you can't see anything from the upper bowl. I used to have a package for the Nuggets and my seats were nine rows from the very top in the corner at Pepsi Center (its ceiling is about 50 feet higher than Intrust) and I still saw all the action, the players' faces, etc etc. I know everything is a matter of perspective and what you're used to--I guess it just goes to show how awesome the sight lines are and close proximity to the court the seating is at Koch. Man, I wish I could make the trip back to town for the Tennessee game and sit in the "bad seats" in the upper bowl at Intrust. That place is gonna be rockin', enjoy guys!"It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM

Doc nailed it with the 6000 seats in lower bowl thing.
That's what people still don't understand with IBA. There are not 10,000 lower bowl seats. They expect the exact same seats and sight lines as Koch, etc, etc. They just don't comprehend things well. They are also the reason why we've only had about a 2/3 full IBA in our hometown when the Shockers are playing in the last couple of years. Kinda sad.
As far as the code thing goes, that's all on WSU. They choose how they want the ticketing to go. This was the best way they felt would cover all bases. Obviously, it's not a perfect system. But then again, with this spoiled fanbase, what is the perfect system? There will never be a way to make everyone happy because there are always people bitching about something. But yeah, if you want to complain about the code thing, give the AD a call.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.
