I think all uniforms should just have the number 4 on the front and back, and that's it. Everybody is number 4 now. Yes I know that's not within the rules, so we have to get creative. Somehow print all jersey numbers in the shape of a four.

I like the shorts. I don't like the giant WuShock on the shirt or the WSU wheat logo on the uniform. I'd prefer to just have the "Wichita State" line like this:

I like this but I like the balance of the Wichita on top and State on the bottom. But that makes me boring because that's what we have now. :(

If you take Play Angry and prepend it to MTXE and then append Not Satisfied to that you get:

The jerseys have to have "Wichita State" prominently featured. Or at least "Wichita". After the F4 run, we're known nationlly, but we're not yet a "national brand". "Shockers" might work to help with "brand recognition".

Right now, the goal of anything should be to let more people know about Wichita State. Don't give the public any chance to not recognize Wichita State any time they happen to even accidentally channel surf to a WSU game or catch a highlight on ESPN.

We've got to pound home to every fan in America that Wichita State is something they want to know about and care about. Not Wright State. Not Washington State. Don't give the public a chance to miss that it's Wichita State they're watching. Even if a fan doesn't realize or care who they're watching, if they see the words "Wichita State" on the uni, that registers.

Getting on Sports Center or getting a lot of pics on the net and in sports magazines is free advertising. That's wasted if people don't see the name of the product being advertised.

I think the design on the sides works to make it better than what we have now either way. Or maybe Wichita in larger letters and State in small letters directly below it, but with both above the numbers?

Personally, I want the grey uniforms gone, and a bit more flair added to the logos -- nothing close to that #4 giant WuShock uniform, but I like the merging side design. I think black and white should be the uniform, maybe with an alternate yellow -- but no more grey.

Right now is the perfect time for the Shockers to upgrade the look and presentation of the Shocker wardrobe. Get rid of the old, plain "Wichita State" jerseys and lets get a little more modern, a little more hip.

Nothing outlandish like the Oregon football jerseys or the horrible KU Adidas jerseys, but something more flashy and more recognizable.

You're right. Maybe it wasn't so much the design as the color scheme. Just remember HATING those unis. At least we don't have to worry about NEON colors, ala Baylor and a few others (or at least I hope we don't).

While I tend to be a traditionalist, I would not mind a migration away from the wheat symbol and the term, wheat shocker.

Just Shockers is fine with me.
