Unless you've played with the guys on the team, I can guarantee that you don't fully understand the pace and speed at which those guys play. On D, when a couple of guys are moving, you've got 3 things you have to watch while your guy is trying to blow by you at what appears to be about 100 mph. On O, I swear that I thought I had hit my spots for passes or shots - when I discovered my defender had somehow moved me about 3' further out than I was supposed to be.
The amount of time available to recognize what's happening, react to it, and get set for what's coming next is really limited. If a player disengages for even 2 seconds, there's a good chance that player won't recognize what's going on - possibly for the rest of the possession. BBIQ is not easy and the pace of the game can make players who may be very skilled look very lost on the court.
