I just wanted to say THANK YOU !!! for all of the prayers, thoughts, and kindness that has been shown by SN for the past few days. It's been quite the week. Anytime I start feeling sorry for myself - I hold my 3 month old grand daughter for a few minutes and it puts a smile on my face.

I did want to share something that happened during the fire. I was standing in front of my burning house in my bb shorts, my neighbors shirt and shoes, watching it snow - and the Fedex driver pulls up with a delivery. It was my framed SI "Shock the World" cover. I looked at him and thanked him for not delivering it the day before because it would have burned. I guess if a person has to start over with his WSU collection - that's a pretty good place to start.

I also found my Wichita State hoodie in my wife's car (which was at the gym). So after the fire went out I took a quick inventory of what I still had. I have a pair of gold shorts, a WSU hoodie, a "Shock the World" framed poster, all of my SN friends, and my Family.

I'm blessed.

Are you going to be able to salvage anything structurally from your home for a rebuild, or are you going to start from a clean sheet?
