  • Final Four Repeat

Don't know if this has been posted previously...

The NBA draft early entry deadline has passed, so we now have a solid image of what most teams will look like in 2013-14. Recruits have signed letters of intent, many transfers have picked new schools, coaches have been hired and fired, and standout players have announced whether they’ll enter the NBA draft or remain in school for another season.

I think Myron has finally seen the light. After I saw who wrote the article I was expecting a 1.

The probability of any team making back-to-back final fours is fairly low.

Even though the team might be better next year (which I think it will), it's possible we don't achieve the same kind of post-season success.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Agreed. This article actually offers some of the best insight into the Shox that I've seen that didn't come from a Wichita journalist.

I think our FF run converted Myron. He definitely was not on board through the Sweet 16 portion of the run. I am very excited about next year after this breakthrough year.

I'm curious. Do we care more about what "journalists" think of the shockers or what the team actually does?

They are related in several ways. Our performance changes perception. Good publicity helps with recruiting, scheduling, even potentially realignment.

And right now, there are journalists "doing things", but the team is not, so what else are we going to talk about?
