  • Stat Sites

I have been thinking about initiating this thread for some time, but lacked the will to go forward.

The purpose of this thread is to provide a central place, where Shockers can post their favorite stat sites so others will have benefit of them too.

I discovered a new site today. It received a mention on ESPN.com. Here is the link.

I have just scan read it, but it looks interesting.

I encourage others to post links to their favorite stat sites. I am particularly interested in one, which covers leaders in NCAA stat categories.

SB Shocker, I know you will love the input from others. It will be like corn to a chicken for you.

The stats on FVV look pretty funny to me on that site.

By far my favorite CBB stat site: http://statsheet.com/mcb Contains all kinds of leader stats, and also has tons of useful efficiency stats. Also allows you to create custom individual player graphs and comparison charts. Haven't ever tried embedding one of them here though.

cbssports.com doesn't have a ton of stats, but they have a good layout for some specific things I look for.

How about making this a sticky OR perhaps posting some of the links in the "Links" section?

Run by the same guy who does Mid Majority. They were the first site to do real-time selection sheets. Requires a subscription after so many views though.

But still VERY good. I link WSU's selection sheet in my signature.

Did you note on "Stat Sheet" seed that they had us as the first four out on the bubble?

StatSheet uses an automated system of the statistics for most of it's analysis and articles, so not surprising at all. No human input at all. For reference WSU has a site maintained by StatSheet with game previews and post game analysis here: http://shockerbeat.com/, but it's all automated.
