          So damn many things.

If I had to narrow it down to one thing, though: Cleanthony Early's maturation into an NBA player.

That's the next step for Coach Marshall and Wichita State as a program. Last year I thought NCAA tournament success was the next step, and we did that in style. Next step is producing an NBA draft pick ... and if we want to do that in style, Early needs to be a first rounder. Sky's the limit for Coach Marshall with recruits once he gets that first NBA guy under his belt, especially one that was playing JUCO a year ago. I'm still holding out hope that Carl Hall makes it into the NBA, but regardless ... Early as a first rounder would be huge for the future.

Second place would be getting to see Evan Wessel play for a full year.

I excited that I can miss the guys that are no longer here while not having to worry about a downturn in the teams performance.

If Early goes from DIII JuCo to a 1st round pick in 2 years, every top JuCo player in the nation will be applying for a schollie at WSU.

Hall is way undersized for an NBA PF and doesn't have the range or handles for an NBA SF, but don't be surprised if he gets a long, hard look.

Dennis Rodman was 6'7" and he had a pretty fair NBA career.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

What did you predict for WSU in 2012-13? Did you come anywhere close to your predictions?

i'm anxious to see what vanvleet does next year.

he will be the starting pg. (so, there you go, young man. you have the reins). we shall see if the shockers maintain, exceed, decline or whatever with a soph starter at pg next year.

DeJuan Blair is making a pretty good living as an NBA PF off the bench at 6'7". Rebounding and defensive skills, combined with some offense, with always get a long, hard look.

I'm excited about who we have returning and who we have coming in. I am NOT excited about our new member; however, I am hopeful and more than willing to be proven wrong on this.

Not about the MVC. The potential for a great non-con is keeping my hopes up.
