I dont think the words ever came out of his mouth, he pointed to the sign and was pretty much agreeing to itFollow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/Shox_KCfan

This goes back to the NIT Championship reception at Koch. 3G never said "Chickenhawks". Someone had a sign in the crowd that said it and 3G made some passing reference, which everyone got a chuckle from. I believe he actually said something to the affect that "I did not say it, and pointed to the sign". This is a perfect example of a journalist that does not do his homework and is stating information which he heard from someone else and is now reporting it as if it is true.
No big deal here, everyone knows when it comes to WSU - KU are what everyone says they are, fill in the gap with your own title.

Nothing to see here. Time to move on."Coach Marshall,We will be at Creighton at least 15 hours in advance!"
CGM--->"Hell yea, and we'll beat their ass."

It was no big deal. He was caught up in a great moment after the NIT win and simply read it off of a sign that someone was holding up in the crowd. It was "controversial" at the time but there was absolutely nothing meant by it. Besides, who cares if something was meant by it? All this would go away if KU would play us. Otherwise, move along, there is nothing to see here."We can't win at home. We can't win on the road. As the general manager, I just can't figure out where else to play." -Pat Williams
