  • Player Stats Season vs Post-Season

The reason for selecting the breakpoint of regular season/post season is arbitrary, but seems like a natural breakpoint. There is no devious intent in selecting this breakpoint.

NCAA STATS PER 40 MINUTES PLAYED

I was looking at the stats for returning players compared to graduating players. We have compared the entire season and also the conference opponents, but here is the summary for the NCAA tournament games. These paint a much brighter picture for next season than the previous analyses.

The returnees played 58% of the minutes in the tournament compared to only 44.9% in conference games, and 49.4% in all games. Much of that is attributable to Mr. Baker taking many of Mr.Williams' minutes. We lose most in rebounding and assists and blocked shots, but gain in points and fewer turnovers.
