Here's a link to the Georgia Dome : http://www.gadome.com/events_ticketi...l/1304077.aspx
All kinds of interesting links/facts, scrolling down the page there is a seating chart, capacity of the GD is north of 70k. I was wondering if they were going to fill it to capacity or close off some of the upper areas. It looks like the NCAA has chosen the maximum cash grab theory however. On the brighter side I see there is a Taco Mac above Section 209, whatever that is. What the heck, it's a bucket list thing.
EDIT:
Here is a quote from an article about last years regional (2012) and the seating capacity, "For Friday's and Sunday's games, the court has been installed on one end of the Georgia Dome, and about half of the 72,000-seat stadium will be curtained off from view, virtually the same setup as for the SEC basketball tournament here last year(2011). But for next season's Final Four -- the dates are April 6 and 8, 2013 -- the court will be installed in the center of the stadium, and all seats will be used". Here is a link to prepaid parking in the vicinity of the GD for those who are driving in : https://www.parkwhiz.com/georgia-dome-parking/
I would probably fire the marketing company who came up with the name though, just add the letter "n" to the middle.
