I guess that means WSU is just playing for shits and giggles?"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

This thread has been 90% good discussion back and forth, and very enjoyable to read. The other 10% is the normal jack wagon comments from a small portion of posters on both sides. That tells me..... I am on a message board.
I don't believe there is much else can be discussed/disected. I think after about 12 pages we finally narrowed it down to both teams focus on defense, and both teams have to make a few plays offensively to win. To me, that sounds like a reasonably evenly matched game which is all college basketball fans can ask for. If it is a quality, entertaining basketball game on Saturday I will be happy. If UL should win, good for them, they will have earned it. If WSU should win, great, they will have earned it.
Thank you Louisville fans for the information, perspective and generally excellent dialog. Thank you WSU fans for contributing to that excellent dialog as well. It enterains me throughout the work day. I can't wait 'til Saturday so this can finally be settled. If the game is called evenly, the players play hard, and nobody gets seriously injured, I expect a competitive game. One that hopefully both sides can enjoy, win or lose.-Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind-
GO SHOX!

[QUOTE=malicecooper;392978]You sound worse than UK fans. Good thing the vast majority of the Shocker fan base doesn't act like you. Some of us "Loserville" fans have actually been nothing but cordial and engaging in serious basketball discussions.[/QUOTE
I am tired of the Bullshit coming from the trolls, I guess you are cordial!!
P.S. go back to your board if you dont like it here.I smell Bluejay puntang and the only good Bluejay puntang is dead Bluejay puntang

Yeah as we get closer to this game, I feel like the guest posters have taken a nose dive. It was great early in the week, but now its turning into Ohio St crap.
What is the point of bashing and predicting blowouts over a final four team. It's a false sense of security. I guarantee if Gonzaga or Ohio st were in this game, you wouldn't be hearing that they are over rated and just lucky to be around.

I just get tired of hearing how our next opponent is faster, bigger stronger, etc, etc. And then it just turns into a big pissing contest.
Every team is great. No doubt.
"You haven't seen quickness like us!"
"Yeah we have"
"No you haven't"
"Yeah we have"
"Nuh uh"
"Wichita hasn't played anyone"
"Yeah we have"
"Not like us!"
"Okay"
"Say we are better!! Say we are better! Say it now!!"
"No, let's play the game"
"No, You will give us respect!"
"Bow down! Bow Down! Don't even show up!"
"Go away"
"Why are you guys so rude?!"
(sigh)"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

Anyway, in regards to DJ06Shocker, I don't know how many true Louisville fans have stated that Wichita State is lucky, or undeserving of being in the final four. All I've heard, and personally stated, is that Wichita State is a very good team, very deserving of being in the final four, and played some damn good basketball to get where they are. It's not a fluke, Marshall has those guys playing extremely well. At least you all aren't dealing with the same thing that Oregon fans had to deal with, from what I saw. There were actually a lot of UK fans who created Louisville monikers and trolled their boards like crazy. It was pretty sad, but then again, the butthurt flows deep with the Wildcats.
Also, I'm just going point out one thing about your argument about Gonzaga or Ohio State... Ohio State was lucky to make it past the round of 32, the officials handed them that game against Iowa State on a silver platter. The fact they were in the elite 8 made them lucky as hell. The fact that the officiating turned incredibly shitty in favor of the Buckeyes to try to hand them the game against WSU would have made them overly lucky to make the final 4. I wasn't impressed with OSU, and I felt you all were the better team even before the game tipped off. If Gonzaga would have made the final four, I would have said they got lucky because I felt they skirted by this year with a weak schedule, and I think they were a physically weak team. I personally felt like they were a team that crumpled under pressure. I'm not calling them over rated to demean your victory over them, because they were a good team, but they were a team that struggled to close out close games, and they never recovered well when an opponent knocked them down early. You all won your region and for good reason, and that reason is because you were the best team in that region. Shockers are deserving of that final four trip.

Also note: the Fab Five only won one more game than WSU in the tournament. And they cheated. So, I'm pretty sure we're not trying to get the Fab Five thing going on. Not Satisfying.
Also out of curiosity, do you guys think you'd have gotten this far if you played in our bracket instead?

It's certainly hard to say. At this point, all the teams are solid, at worst. I believe, of the teams Louisville played, CSU would have given us the toughest game. That would have been a war. I still haven't seen enough of Oregon to have an opinion. Duke is not a tough team. A good team, to be sure, but if someone pushes Plumlee around for the first two minutes he throws in the towel and they become pretty 1-dimensional.
