WSU v. OSU - West Regional Final

A few thoughts to wrap up this game:
-Craft was basically a non factor, we switched up on him and took him out of the offense. Our turnovers were due to us getting too excited, nothing that he did. He is the reason they have went as far as they did. Otherwise they are a bunch of disjointed NBA draft picks who may or may not get hot on a given night.
-Pat Adams made some strange calls.
-The Buckeyes had more people in red shirts than we did black and yellow, but our "fans" outnumbered theirs. We were loud and vibrant.
-FVV will be the best PG in Shocker history when he hangs it up. He had learned from the crafty old veteran this year and has the composure of a CIA assassin dropped deep behind enemy lines.
-The Staples Center has a bunch of wasted space. The place will always have fond memories so I really don't care.
-Sat next to an actor/director/writer from the area that is a Wichita State alum the LaSalle game. What a great guy. His name is Blake Robbins and he has been in some big stuff on television and the movies. The local media needs to do a story on him.
-Met Wichita State fans from all over. Wore my Shocker stuff to Venice Beach and swagged it down the boardwalk. Several comments all positive. A couple of LA fireman told me we "ruined their bracket" but then said they were pulling for us.

The OSU message board is less than entertaining. Most posts are questioning how OSU could possibly get beat by such an obviously inferior team. They're even hoping WSU bets blown out and embarrassed in the next game. Dang! When I get beat at anything, I hope my opponent goes all the way so I can say I got beat by the best.
There was this gem:
At least Children in poor countries will be representing us with OSU Final Four t shirts!!!!The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I also thought Malcolm Armstead and FVV ate him for lunch.
Which is just an incredible statement. Those two went toe to toe with the Defensive Player of the Year of the best conference in college basketball and not only didn't blink, but won handily. Not just the experienced PG ... our true freshman beat him. Again heart breaking for me but if we were going to lose I am glad it was to you guys and I would love to see you guys go all the way and win it all.
Ironic for me I follow you all year and root for you and was behind you all the way during the season even in your time of dispare when you were on your losing streak.
Congrats and enjoy your 1st Final Four since 1965."It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM
