If I remember right, a 9 seed has never made the final 4

I always thought the unofficial definition of a Cinderella was a double digit seed. Examples include 11 seeds VCU and GMU. I can't find any reference to the double digit criteria on the interwebs, but I'm sure I heard it somewhere.

And, before this year, a 15 had never got to the Sweet 16 either. We'll be fine, or as @SubGod22: would say.... "I'm not worried".

Maybe the first 9 seed to reach the final 4. But won't be the lowest seed to every reach the final 4. I believe both George Mason and VCU were lower seeds.

They were. But there is a difference. A 9 MUST go through a 1.
