Congrats guys you earned that win with your great 3 point shooting and hard nose defense holding them to just 35% shooting from the field. This is a day you guys have worked so hard for the last 7 years since the last time you made the sweet 16 and ironically in 2006 you played a worse seed in 11 seed Mason and now once again you will play a worse seed 12/13 seed for the right to play in the Elite 8.
Win or lose the rest of the way you should be so proud as I am of your team to bounce back from such a tough loss last year in the 1st game as a 5 seed this year I really didn't expect you guys to be this good at the start of the year I had no clue with losing all those seniors last year you would be as good as you were but when you beat VCU and Creighton that really told me a lot about your team. You guys had some struggled during the year but I never lost faith in you and you paid it off big time today.
Glad to be a fan of Wichita State this year.
