      NIT Final: #7 Mercer 75 - #2 Tennessee 67 in Knoxville.

SEC Coaches to NCAA Selection Committee: Nevermind!

Not sure if Cuonzo Martin needs and oral surgeon or a podiatrist to extract his big foot from his big mouth.

Another 7 seed, Stony Brook, takes out a 2 seed, UMass of the A-10, in the NIT by a score of 71-58 on the UMass home court in front of a raucous crowd of 2,173.

Kentucky clearly didn't want to be in the NIT, them losing is not too big of a surprise.

Same could be said about Tennessee. However, if either program wanted to question whether or not they should have been included field then they should have won, and kept winning.

They have no room to talk now that they have failed to win games in the NIT.

Not with the recruiting class he has coming in.

Why was the game at Robert Morris?
Of course they should rush the court. I have never even heard of Robert Morris. The players in that game will be talking to their grandchildren about "the time they beat Kentucky". I really don't even know how this win was possible. I'm sure it all came down to heart and RM playing out of their asses with the passion of 1,000 men. Meanwhile Kentucky's players were too good to even show up. That's why they play the games folks.

In all seriousness....is this a serious question? He's still the defending National Championship coach, and his team will be preseason top 10, at least, and a mortal lock for a top 2 seed at the end of the year. Minimum.

I love it when people a little too sure of themselves talk about being disrespected but when the time comes to prove their worth, fall flat on their face. SEC, LOL. See ya next year Cuonzo, but a warning: we won't be very sympathetic.

Next year, they'll be bring back Golden, McRae, Maymon, Stokes, and Hubbs. They should be a top 25 team and very, very strong opponent we'll be facing at IBA. Is our non-con going to be good or what?
