          The tuition for my first semester at WSU in the Fall of 1984 was $492 for 14 hours.

            I think I purchased two books for that price last year.

                I'm sure they would still charge you an arm and a leg for a digital copy, though. Ya know, because, it's about education..... Not making money or anything.

                  I rent the books now. Cheaper. I was in a class that had an online version of the book for free as an experiment. I didn't like it for the simple fact that I couldn't access it at work. I think last semester I had 3 books for about 50 bucks. Granted, they were older books and rentals. I don't recall what this semester was.

                        Back in the early 70's you could take as many hours as you wanted if you paid a flat fee of something like $225.00
