As a shocker fan I expect us to win the whole thing...but as a realist, I see us winning one game, I say this because Marshall has incrementally improved this team every year, not everyone has drastic NCAA title game appearances like Butler, he started with nothing, to CBI, NIT appearance, NIT Championship, NCAA apearance, and worst case senario one game this year, IMO. Best case we go nuts and the stars align and we can win a string of games depending on matchups. Gotta have good games from Armstead, Hall and Early, with some magic from Baker, Cotton and FVV. GOSHOX

It's likely that the NCAA selection committee will pair us against the "worst possible" match-ups in the first and second round to tilt the scale (chances) that Wichita St. WILL NOT advance to the Sweet-16. That's just what they do.

We were soooooooooooo lucky in 2006 when they gave us too softy's in Seton Hall and Tennessee. Not so much last year with VCU.
Call it the Billy "Hackard" and Jim Nance rule. Lol

It's really bugging the crap out of me that we continue to be the only team in a 6-11 pairing not playing a BCS school.

It's likely that will be the case in the real bracket. Not afraid to lose to another non-BCS like UNLV or Butler, but beating those teams does nothing for us. Even if we win our first round game and magically meet Gonzaqa (the overall number 1 seed) and beat them, it wouldn't raise our stock, just lower Gonzaga's.
