Game Thread MSU vs. WSU

Having Baker back helped us out a bunch tonight. Made the bench a little longer, bailed out the starters.

FWIW, I think we can win this thing. Marshall has more options just when he needed them.....

Only 4 shots, all from places that you can't find on a map and all at critical times. That's 12 and if you have 12 more at the line..That's a boat load of points. Semantics.

They were good shots, no doubt about it. But the guy was still 4-11 on 39 minutes in the game. I would take a stat line like that from the leading scorer of any team we play against for the rest of my life. That's just not a great stat line.

Yeah, he was good at flopping, and somehow he's able to initiate contact but still get to shoot FTs. And we gave him too many shots on stupid fouls. But any player on that team would have had a ton of points if they shot 16 FTs. My point is that we handed him a great game, he didn't actually do much for it himself. 4-11 doesn't strike fear in my heart. If we play Creighton and McDermott shoots 4-11, I'd bet everything on us winning.

When FVV, RB, EW are seniors that will be a nice group.

Huge win...we're dancing folks!!!

Let's not chance it. One more should do it and it would be nice if we get Creighton again in the finals. In any case, if we don't win this thing we probably need Creighton to win it.

We suck....45.6% from the field. We suck....holding them to 37.2% shooting. We suck.....39-21 rebounds. We suck.....18-4 offensive rebounds. We suck....only 11 turnovers. Lol look it wasn't a perfect game. 3pt % wasn't great and either was free throw %. There were also some poor individual performances. But that is why our depth is important and a big key. Anyone of them can hurt you any night. It wasn't a horrible performance overall

Carl played like Carl Hall tonight... if he continues over the next two days,.. our chances will look better than they did tonight...
Our bench came up huge with 36 of 69 points
Wiggins was robbed of a double figure game by CLE... but ha a good effort tonight as well

We won by double digits KC. You need the drama, right? Muhahaha. Can't believe the tons and tons of fouls that were called. That hurt us giving them 29 throws. It kept the game to a "too close for comfort level."
