D-Will will make history much easier and leave a longer-lasting legacy if he can only remember that there is no 'i' in team.....

I think the wins are going to his head. While he has been an important player, he has never been THE guy, and i think he is trying to hard to live up to the wins and be THE guy. i feel like he needs to just cool it and accept his role. If anyone on this team is THE guy, it needs to be Cle. Nothing against any of the other guys, but FVV/MA, TC/DW, NW/CH, CLE, EO/CH is going to be the lineup that we tear through the post season with. MA off the bench, DW off the bench, Carl off the bench (all minutes-wise, who starts doesn't matter). EO needs to dominate.

DWill will not make or break us at this point. When he has had down games, it has usually been part of a team exercise. He has had some very positive impact in the last 10 games at the FT line. Despite having a so-so game at CU, he led the team with 18 points, and while some of his drives to the lane were not effective, he at least attacked the lane which is more than our other guards did, and after he started doing it, our team loosened up and stayed within striking distance for a good part of the game. Better to go down swinging than looking.

Demetric "I just can't figure out how to pass the ball to the post even after 4 years of Division 1 basketball" Williams is a helluva player!!!!!!!! The young man is a WARRIOR!!!!!!!
Let's get behind him in his Senior MVC tourney year and show the man some Shocker love!!! He plays so damn hard and goes 100%!!!!!!
When he's cooking by driving and getting physical on defense he is on his GAME big-time. I get this feeling he's gonna do some seriously tenacious things in this post season!!! He wants it......you can see it in his aggressiveness.

            GO D-WILL!!!!! Let's DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AZ Shocker, while I greatly appreciate your enthusiasm, I will only get behind Mr. Williams if he uses his head as much as he uses his heart. Unfortunately, I do not think he uses his head enough at times, though I do greatly appreciate his hustle.

It's getting late for him and I was greatly disappointed watching his play. He has had 4 years to work on his decision making. I'm not sure telling him to be aggressive is going to fix what several of us here think is a mental block.

Wait....you want MA to come off the bench?

                Not this again.

I agree that who starts doesn't matter, but you're gonna thrust FVV in a starting role in the post-season after coming off the bench ALL season long? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Is it just me, or was DWill MIA the last 10 minutes or so? Did I miss something or did 3G really go with the young stud over the SR?

I wasn't listening to the game until the last 5 minutes, but if you look at the stat sheet, your assertion would certainly make sense.

He wasn't in towards the end because Free and Rob were both playing so well on both sides of the ball. I imagine I'd we really needed a defensive stop then DWill would probably have been put in.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

DW's last appearance was at 8:18, on his way to the bench.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."
