Might as well start with some MVC tournament-specific discussion. I'll start with Ken Pomeroy's log5 probabilities for each MVC team making it to each round.
Interesting that we have a higher liklihood of winning game 1 than the blue birds. I actually like our chances this year as well as any year. My only real concern is someone other than CU/WSU winning. That might drop us. Especially if we laid an egg on Fridayl. I think we might be screwed.
Can't wait for the trip, though. Love this trip every year. It's great to see most of the fans. Stl embraces the Valley nicely. Tons to do and lots of good food. See anybody with small kids at the City Museum. Don't miss that and also recommend going to Hodak's for some chicken. Not sure about The Hill this year. Maybe.

Going by his rankings the two worst teams in the Valley are MSU and SIU. Since we aren't rated that far behind Creighton then he's got us with a slightly better chance of winning on Friday. Events that he's given a very low probability have happened before. For example, the chances of Bradley winning Arch Madness are the same he gave for VCU to make the final four in 2011.
I think CU is going to cruise until Sunday when hopefully we meet them and slow them down.
If we do lose Friday, which I think is remote but not impossible, I will be rooting for CU as I will be rooting for every conference champion so the bubble does not shorten by one.

If we lose Friday, we don't belong in the NCAA tournament.
