Early averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in WSU's two wins last week. Early led the Shockers in scoring with 19 at Indiana State, which included a decisive three-point basket in the closing seconds. He then backed that with 18 against Detroit in the BracketBuster game. For the week, he shot 13-of-27 for 48 percent. He also made five treys and shot 79 percent fro the line.
Surprised this didn't go to Malcolm but when the conference thinks that Early's last 3 pointer at 12:18 in the second half of the Indiana State game is "in the closing seconds" and its decisive when the Shocks win by 4. Unless our wonderful conference confused the the Karate Kick Illinois State game with the Indiana State game.
