Okay so I've never seen hoopsnut in all of my 9ish months here. The first thing I see is apparently 'really objective' and not even attempting to see WSUs side on anything.

        Need I say more?

          I believe it was Drake.

By strange coincidence that night, I actually had seats directly behind the guy who lost his marbles. My season tickets were being used by my parents and I had somehow got some other ones.

A horrible call was made, after a few other bad ones. Escalations were mounting. When it happened, the guy simply stood up and threw the water bottle as hard as he could at the official in about 2 nanoseconds. His attempt fell well short and hit the floor short of the officials table. I don't think it hit anybody directly, maybe after sliding on the floor for a little bit. The guy was immediately pointed out and security escorted him out. He didn't say one word the entire game prior to the incident, during, or after.

We beat Drake by about 30.

I think I always get that game mixed up with the TCU game from that year. The TCU game was where the "these refs suck" chant started and Marshall had to get on the mic and tell the fans the team didn't need that right now, right? IIRC TCU had one guy that was simply going off on us

I think you're correct and I believe also you're correct that it was the same season.

This is why eyewitness testimony is unreliable......lol.....Seems to me Coach said "they are going to give us a technical if you don't stop, and we don't need that right now."

On the other deal, in my memory, was that the bottle bounced/skipped in the aisle, and hit a woman seated at a table, a glancing blow on the shoulder.

Their fans were very passionate, but out of line at the end, hitting Ron in the back of the head with a small basketball, and our fans with their collapsible souvenirs. We were quickly escorted to the hallway near the locker room, where we heard what we thought was a celebration until guards ran by us. We then turned the corner to see a couple of coaches exchanging pleasantries. I rolled video on my phone but was asked by the coaching staff to stop and delete it, and did so. It was a heated game, and got a bit out of hand at the end.. Let it go,we have a bigger focus tomorrow.
Think its funny none of this has been mentioned. And we are the classless bunch as ISUred says. I saw a shirt once that said You must be doing something right if you have haters! I agree. Lets move on. Let others keep hating us. Only fuels the fire of HCGM and the boys.

And for the record I am proud of how are teams celebrate. The ISUred team said Carl "taunted" the fans. I saw him yelling. Their is a huge difference. I feel like our teams celebrate like they expect to win and when they do win, celebrate in a reasonable manner. When you win in a hostile environment on a last second shot with objects being thrown at your players i expect it will be a little more excited celebration. But we didnt dog pile on the floor like some teams, our fans dont storm the court when beating a ranked team, and our players dont celbrate and pump their chest with fans while the game is still going on. Its because we expect to win.

I saw none of our players pull an Ole Miss Marshall Henderson as seen here; if I knew how to pull a GIF, I'd just do the last 10 seconds. ISU fans, this is taunting - know the difference.

Marshall Henderson draws a foul, hits two from the line, and taunts the Auburn student section in a 63-61 Ole Miss victory. 10-26-13.

Carl Hall raising his hands through the tunnel is a non-event. Why should it matter if it is a road game? Should the World Series winner not have a dog pile when they win on the road?

Taunting is hanging on the rim and throwing a fist to the crowd. Pretty sure that one is actually in the rule book.

Does anyone remember that Illinois State player a few years ago sliding all over the WSU logo at center court after their win at Koch?

Apparently Illinois State fans have forgotten. That was MUCH worse than anything a WSU player did Sunday night. Nevermind the fact they also had objects being thrown at them.

What I take umbrage with is your assertion about High Point particularly when you are comparing Winthrop U to it. Uh...I don't know how to say this but HPU is a really great school. One of the best in the South. Look no further than the U.S. News Rankings. Winthrop is decent academically but certainly no High Point. And HPU seems to always have the reigning Miss North Carolina on campus so that helps the scenary.

Gregg was not well regarded in the Big South at the end. We can agree on that point.

I'm getting so sick of talking about this. Can't we move on to something else like Shocker baseball?!

                                Oh wait...never mind.

                                Carry on.
