I think Illinois State is very capable of winning the MVC Tournament. Biggest issue might be their lack of depth. They only went about 7 deep against the Shocks, but it is a pretty talented 7.

I would prefer not to be on the same side of the bracket as the Redbirds. They scare me as much as anyone in the league.

Bottom line is St. Louis is absolutely up for grabs and it is going to be a real battle. Should be a very good, tough tournament.

Well after reading all the "bitterness" and "drama" about last night.....I'm still liking ISU. They played very well until the last 40-some seconds. Dude who dribbled the ball out of bounds may just be on suicide watch today. Lol

ISU fans should not be bitter about the "right" call on the karate kick. If one of our guys did that...I would've completely expected that he would've been ejected with a Flagrant 2. The ISU fans should feel happy and lucky that Carmicheal wasn't ejected and still had a chance to make that potentially final game winning shot.

BUT....he didn't make it. So sorry. AND your guy lost the ball on the inbounds play and GAVE IT RIGHT BACK to the SHOCKERS who MADE YOUR TEAM PAY!!!!!
      Booyah Bitches...!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

If they keep on keeping-on......I would like to see that team represent the 3rd or 4th team from the MVC in the March tourney!!!
My only problem wit this is you must be hoping for the Redbirds to win out in St. Louis. Even Redbird fans know if they don't win there, they are just playng for a NIT seed. I trust Carmichael's flagrant was just a one time, split second bad decision. However how he bowled over Hall on the last play is making me wonder about him. They did play a very good game until the last seconds. Their defense was great for the first 13 minutes and made the Shockers step up.
