A least UNI has the second best coach in the conference by a pretty big margin.

Illinois State has a guy that took the team predicted to finish second into a sixth place finish.

Illinois State is getting some very fine JUCOs in. They are nothing to laugh at, but I'll St needs them to be stars from day 1. The Shockers have consistently had the talent to allow the AAs to develop.

Some of their recruits are probably very good players. However the one with junco stats of 2 pts & 1.3 reb. Reminds me of Jamie Sowers. Jamie couldn't shoot but he could sure jump high. Yes, shocker fans have been delusional too. :-)
