I see the chicken little brigade has shown up.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Going on a hunger strike until the Shox get there stuff together! Not really but our loses hurt. Not even a look at the basket for a chance to win. What the the eff?

I'm not going all nuclear reactor meltdown over this team. None of us, I take that back, maybe less than 5 percent of Shockernetters thought before the season started we would be on the verge of a sure lock to the NCAA's. Myself, I was hoping for a 17 to 20 win season given the inexperience coming in and the key players we lost. What the Shox do here on out is gravy as far as I'm concerned.

That said, I hope no one buys into the hype that this team is top 25 quality ever again this year. Our offense stinks. We couldn't throw a kernel of sand into the ocean. We don't have that one playmaker to go to in crunch time and we have the deer in the headlights look when the zone is presented.

          Give me a damn sledgehammer.

We lose to a Top 50 team at home, and then a team that played Louisville fairly well on the road, and you are all ready to throw in the towel?

Yes, we didn't play great this week. But shut the hell up with the doom and gloom. One game at a time. This isn't even close to over. You really think that we can't overcome this week? Then go root for the damn Chickenhawks.
I don't really like the line "we lost to a team that played Louisville fairly well on the road" because let's be honest, this is a game we should have won, but newsflash to everyone: there is a LOT of parity in college basketball. It's pretty damn hard to win every night, especially this year with ranked teams dropping left and right. The fact that this team has battled through injuries and is 19-4, I have full confidence they'll recover.

After the Bradley game we were all talking about how our team chemistry was really good. I doubt it's gone down, and I wouldn't be surprised (although I have no inside info) to hear of illness running through the team.

Hit a slump now and recover? Or roll all the way to the NCAA and then hit a slump?

Please...Kool aid over load...it potentially kept 6-0 runs into 12-0 runs. In the end they had a chance, PROBABLY because he kept them at bay with early time outs. That is what good coaches do. And it certainly doesn't guarantee anything except a chance.

I still love this team though! I believe we'll get back on track and peak at the right time during the dance. It's a game of peaking your team at the right point in the season.

Our goals before the season were a Valley title and top 4 NCAA seed?

My, you had mighty high aspirations going into the season. Too bad no one else did. Bravo.

I forgot that the tourny committee considers losses to teams that play Louisville fairly well, to be OK........... Phew.

We are stinking because team's have just now figured out that two of our starters are not capable of scoring at a D1 level. If we had Wessel and Baker right now, we'd be 21-2. Cotton and Williams are basically non-existent, allowing other teams to play 5 on 3. When Armstead is playing badly, we have nobody on the perimeter.

We are what we are and perhaps we are not quite as good as our record might indicate. There are certainly signfiicant challenges remaining including road games at ILS, INS and CU, none of which we will win if we play like we have the past two games.

When we finish 5th in the Valley instead of our predicted 4th, I will melt down.
