I was checking stats for the Gal Mekel thread. There were wome other interesting stats. These are for Valley games only. Format is category - then league ranking - then raw stat:
Offensive Rebounds: 9 - Cooz - 2.14; T10 - Thomasson - 2.0
Minutes: 6 - Mekel - 33.57; T21 - Cooz - 29.14; T21 - Thomasson - 29.14
Points: 15 - Cooz - 11.7; 24 - Mekel - 10.1; 29 - Thomasson - 9.1
Rebounds: 15 - Cooz - 5.3; T16 - Thomasson - 5.1; T18 - Clemente - 5.0
Assists: 7 - Mekel - 3.71
FT%: 11 - Mekel - 80.6%
Steals: T5 - Cooz - 1.57; 14 - Clemente - 1.33
3 FG%: 6 - Hatch - 50%; 10 - Griskenas - 47.1%
3 FG Made: 15 - Hatch - 1.5
Blocks: 12 - Durley - .71
A/TO Ratio - 7 - Mekel - 1.63
Before the season if someone would have predicted that Mekel would be WSU's assist, A/TO and Minutes leader; Hatch would be the best 3-pt shooter; Couisnard would play less than 30 minutes a game. Then the pre-season media predictions of 7th or 8th would have seemed more likely.
The way the season unfolded doesn't fit any pre-season scenarios that would have put WSU in the top half of the Valley.
