Coach did not say so, but didn't he hint that Baker might not return this year?

Maybe. He did say that the bone involved is a very important bone (the navicular) that you do not want to break.



Coach said that he understands it will be a long, slow process getting Ron back and that his long-term health was more imortant than getting him back by any preset deadline. He would let Ron, his parent, the doctors and the training staff determine when that will happen.
