The games most likely to be losses are at ISUb and CU. Once we get to the Dance I'm hoping for a 6 game winning streak.

??? Probably 2 more in conference. The proverbial loss in the Lou, and one in the dance. 4 more losses this year.

I don't think the best road team in the country is going to lose 6 road games in a season.

No. Maybe at ISUb. St. Louis (just because it always happens), Final Four

I agree with @Rocky Mountain Shock: about that 6 game winning streak.

I could see 1 in the dance, 1 in St Louis, and 1 somewhere in the pits of the Valley, most likely Creighton. Maybe 29-5 for the year?

You know I was thinking.....What if the winner of the Valley regular season DID NOT have to participate in the Valley Tournament????
It would seem that would ALMOST guarantee a second team making the Dance every year. :)

That would be a good record. I would like to see 30 wins or more. What is the record for wins? 32?

I am fairly confident the program has never seen 30 wins in a season.

I voted two losses based on regular season only. If I were to say end of all tournaments too, then 4 losses.

We had the record for most wins in a season in the NIT Champ year. How many was that again? Was it only 29? I thought it was 32.

Up that confidence, broseph. We're not gonna lose 3 more games before the NCAA Tournament starts.

The record at WSU is 29 (NIT champs), and I think it's definitely in jeopardy this year.

Note the margins in those RealTiime RPI projected losses --one or two point games could obviously go either way, and I doubt that anyone at WSU is giving up on the game in Omaha either. The Shocks could easily end up 15-3 in the Valley without playing poorly, especially now that IlSt seems to be regaining consciousness. But that still puts 30 well within reach, especially if they actually manage to win a home game in the stupid Bracketbuster for a change.

Not bad for a "rebuilding" year and losing 4 starters to injuries at one time or another - and 3 of them at the same time. Not bad at all.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
