All MVC team

Was just doing some thinking and is this the most talented group of all conference players we've ever had??
PG- Odum
SG- Ryan
SF- Mcdermott
PF- Carmicheal
C- Echenique

Bench
Hall
Early
Brown
Jackson
Arop
Tuttle

I think I would put Hall and Early in the first team and lose Odum and Echenique. I know Early isnt a pg but dammit he deserves to be in the first team

Haha Odum is still riding the coat tails of his freshman season. I can immediately think of 4 PGs who are better than Odum (to counter the ridiculous idea that the said roster could be the most talented ever) and all four were shockers in the last few years. Brauer, Hannah, Ragland, Armstead. We haven't even had a point guard who wasn't better than Odum in recent memory.

Okay and Carmichael is great but his team is 2-6. That's like saying Gavin Thurman is all valley because he scored 21 points against the best team in the conference in a loss. What about the guys ON the best team in the conference? oh, they are all second team an honorable mention. I can listen to Carmichael as all valley obviously but shouldn't 2-6 automatically put you on 2nd team. Hall is having a better season than Carmichael. I would call it Hall, Carmichael echinacea in that order if we are talking centers.

So much to say, but rant over... I'm sure others will say it all anyway

Rant not over. one more thing...I would take our current roster against a team of everyone else on that list who isn't a shocker and still pick us to go a least 500 if not winning the majority.

I guess I'm figuring it out. The all mvc teams are an attempt to showcase the bright spots on each team because it is the moral victory conference. It is not necessarily an attempt to rank the best basketball players individually.

Who is Jackson? I can't even remember who that is. Come on man. And I am about to go on a Tuttle rant next but I will try to stop myself...

No. I can't. Jake white is as good as Tuttle people. Seth Tuttle is all valley 2nd team? I would take jake Koch over Seth Tuttle from the same team!

Edit: ohhhh, Desmar Jackson! Okay sorry I do know who he is he almost single handedly beat us. I do remember him now. The almost got kicked off the current worst but not actual worst team in the conference (actual worsts are swD2mosuCC and d- education. Did I mention two all valley picks just got owned by the worst team in the conference because somebody had to poop during the game?) guy who can really light it up if he decides to show up. Is that what you want to call all valley over the winningest player in probably all mvc history after this season? Okay okay DWs current season stats probably don't hold a candle to Jackson but I reserve the right for some homerism.

WSU could win the Valley by 5 games and no Shocker player would sniff a chance at the POY award. They sure as hell won't give any award to Coach Marshall. Like Gene Stephenson winning 14 straight Valley titles and going to the CWS, Marshall makes them all too uncomfortable to receive any love, let alone hardware.

Valley of Even can't have the winner getting people on the first team. It wouldn't look good to everyone else.

They might as well be handing out participation trophies only to the members in this league. It isn't $*#&%*( peewee league here. This is D-1. Elgin and crew just don't understand that.
