WSU vs. Bradley predictions and pregame discussions

Here's the deal. These Braves' are an improved team and gave us fits at their yard. However, now they come to 21st and Hillside to face the music. Look for us to shoot better which is truly an improvement we can address and improve upon. In this game, our 1-2 scoring punch inside, The Beast and Early, whom is never late, will knock their socks off with Offense inside. No mercy allowed and I want to see us put some teams away early on and slam the hammer down. We need that D. high-octane energy level that we displayed versus Creighton. We are not so good that we can overlook Valley teams and 3G will not let us forget just that. We have been a team of flurries and they hopefully will be positive and often.

Has anybody heard an update on Baker and when he might return? Originally, it was projected to be about 2 weeks after Hall's return. I wonder if and when he will be back in action if at all with that type of injury.

Even when he gets cleared, it will take Baker longer to get back in game shape than Carl, I would imagine. This based on the fact that Carl's injury didn't keep him off his feet like Ron's stress fracture. I'm hoping he can be back as the "secret weapon" for the late February/early March stretch run.

A couple of mentions this week that he would be out of the cast on the coming Tuesday and then anybody's guess of how long, probably a range of 1-6 weeks.

I was extremely impressed with Bradley when I watched our game at Bradley. I am hopeful that within the next couple of seasons they will be a power in the MVC again--God only knows this league needs better teams to get more respect. Anyway, despite Bradley's troubles on the road in league play, I don't expect this to be a cake walk.
