Andy Katz thoughts on Kansas Arenas.• I saw Fran Fraschilla tweet this out, but he's onto something about the Sunflower State. The three atmospheres at Kansas, Kansas State and Wichita State have to rank up there with any state in the country. If they're all full -- and most of the time they are -- then each venue can rock.

If this has previously been posted I apologize. The activity level on the board this year is making it diffucult to keep up.
This was very complimentary article on the environment at Koch Arena that was in the Omaha World Herald prior to the Creighton game:
Funk, who scored 35 points in a 2005 win at Wichita, called Koch his favorite road venue in the league.
Attending a game there, he said, should be on the bucket list of any true college basketball fan.
“If there's any road game a Creighton fan ever has a chance to make, I'd tell them make the drive to Wichita,” Funk said. “It's the best road atmosphere you'll ever see in the Valley.”
