I call BS. Everyone has a black shirt. And by telling people 2 games in advance you should catch almost everyone who might miss one of the games. It's also easier to remember right before the game, as opposed to them warning us 2 months in advance. I'm glad the athletic department did not subscribe to the unified theory of creep in this case.

Personally I think a yellow out plays much better on TV. A black out tends to diminish the crowd visually. However, won't matter if the crowed brings it energy-wise and raises the decibel level appropriately.

I totally agree.

Black makes everything appear smaller - including our arena.

Whiteouts for Creighton are silly.
Blackouts for WSU are silly.

But every other game it's encouraged to where gold. So if they're trying to do something different, black is what makes sense.

The Creighton game that turned around the 08-09 season (and, basically, Marshall's tenure here) was a blackout. It was hard core.
