He won't like being on the opposing bench. But I do appreciate the hard work he put in while he was here. Can't fault him for making the decision he made. But I CAN make him regret it! ;) Seriously though, he has my respect.

Guess I missed the "details". I was working pretty hard at the time and was pretty busy. Must have slipped past me.

Marshall went through a spell where a handful of assistant coaches came on for one and dones and he expressed that he was disappointed about it.

I believe it was chad dollar and Dana ford specifically.

Marshall made him promise that he would stay for a minimum of two. He agreed.

Yeah I went back and read the old thread. I didn't notice all of that part originally.

He doesn't have Coach Marshall's respect. He made that loud and clear on one of his shows when he talk about Coach Ford not upholding his part of the bargain.

I don't believe Gregg and Dana shook hands.

i had completely missed the part about marshall being upset with him leaving but it was plenty obvious last night.

I told my dad, I wandered if there was some bad blood there. Normally coach goes and shakes the assitants hands either before or after shaking the other head coaches before the game. last night he stayed on his side of the court and only shook ill st's head coach. then after the anthem it was like the ford and marshall would combust if they came in contact. they avoided each other. marshall did get his attention as he was walking away and kind of glared at ford. pretty easy to tell it was tense.

I understand HC3GM being disappointed in Ford and not being buddy-buddy with him, but it's kind of petty at this point if he truly is holding a grudge and not able to display good sportsmanship before or after a game. Of course there could be other dynamics going on, like Dana avoiding Marshall, and not the other way around -- I didn't get to see it.

I think it is safe to say ford will not be using Marshall as a reference.
