At 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPNU unveiled the 2012-13 Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 Presented by Wendy's (a sponsorship I have no problem citing, because I love me a good spicy chicken sandwich) and, by and large, the list was about what you'd expect.

      #5 on this list.

I can't wait to see Hall and Early playing together for one of the best front courts in the country.

Hahaha, I started a riot over on MVCfans. Even some WSU fans are waving the white flag. Its the only thread over there worthy of a look IMO.

Do you mean the thread that questions whether McD (aka SoW) should be MVC PoY or whether Early might get some thought there? McD may be a 1st team AA. He may be the National PoY. He may be the MVC PoY. He may not be the best player at his position in the league.

Here's my take. If I have a choice of SoW for 4 years or Cle for 2 years, I'll take SoW. If I have a choice of SoW or Cle for 2 years each, I'll take Cle any day, twice on Sunday and 3 times on Friday.

I thought about adding EO. Do you think GM would play them at the same time? If so DANG, the nation is in for a shock.

Against a tall BCS team in the NCAA's - it will happen. Throw in Armstead and Cotton at the guards and see what you've got.

What you've got is a line up that should scare the crap out of every team in D1.

I don't think Early has settled into his D1 game yet. Think he still has progress to make.

At this point, if you were choosing an offensive player, you'd have to take SoW ... he has much better offensive stats, albeit in an offense designed entirely around him by his dad. But Early is far better defensively.

I think SoW is MVC POY this year, Early takes it next year. I also think Early is a better NBA prospect after next year.

And throw in one of the deepest benches.

Note who Seth Davis has as his dark horse but yet doesn't list us as his best Mid-Major. Maybe because he thinks we're not Mid-Major? Maybe he listened to Marshall?

Maybe so. There is nothing mid-major about WSU except for that #$%%*& Conference.

Mr. Bilas has us over Creighton. Nothing we haven't heard before, but skip to 9:30.
