We need Nick and Chadrack to bring it on as well. This Shocker team has not reached its ceiling yet. Hopefully, Carl gets back in the mix before too long as well with Ron to follow.

It's likely this thread will need to be renamed.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

A good chance he will be the Player of the Week next week and Desmar Jackson will be the newcomer of the week.

Scorer of the Night – Cleanthony Early, Wichita State

Cleanthony Early dropped a career-high 39 points to lift Wichita State to an 82-76 win over Southern Illinois. It’s the most points for a Shocker since the great Xavier McDaniel scored 43 against Bradley in 1985.

I think the only way that could happen would be if we won the national championship and he accomplished everything he needed to accomplish.

And if all of that happened, I would be mostly fine with it. Of course, I would want a back-to-back shot, but that would be selfish of me.

You know it. Something about recruiting of certain players I'm sure. According to KU, "There is no way Wichita St. can recruit players of that caliber" or something like that.

I love seeing #11 light up the opponents. I just hope he gets a chance to light up some certain "big boys" at some point this season.

He gets his first chance the 19th. Creighton is a valley team, but this year, they're among "the big boys". I'll be there in the rafters screaming for the shox!

Looking back at past posts I was kind of critical when Gregg Marshall was getting some burn as a possible replacement for Turgeon. I could not be happier now that he is in place. His coaching staff is great... The recruiting just keeps getting better and better.

He turned JT Durley (A Turgeon kid) into a MONSTER. He recruited one of the better recruiting classes ever to come to WSU (Kyles, Murry, Stutz) and to top it off...

Replaced the starting 5 this year and has 3 of those guys out on injury (1 likely done for the year) and this team just find ways to win. Pardon my frankness but I was talking to one of the asst coaches a few weeks back (right after the Carl, Evan, Ron injuries came out) and I expressed to him that as a fan its a little nerve racking going into conference play with those 3 out. He told me that he has "a team full of guys who all think their dick is bigger than the next guys." and not to worry.

Well coach as a certain poster on this board is known for saying... "Im not worried"

I know one thing. Nobody's "basketball skills" are bigger than EOs.

At 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPNU unveiled the 2012-13 Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 Presented by Wendy's (a sponsorship I have no problem citing, because I love me a good spicy chicken sandwich) and, by and large, the list was about what you'd expect.

I am doing that from my phone so I don't know if it will link. Cleanthony getting a little more love from the media.

I think a certain guy in Omaha was a little jealous of having to share the national press.

They probably can't believe that someone is giving SOW a run for the money right now in the conference.
