Anybody remeber the SIU game where Jenn Sterger came to Koch? 2007? Worst game I've seen in person. We couldn't even get a shot off.

This one has some ingredients of a trap game, but HCGM will have the guys focused yet again.

            Russian Red Wheat -- 65
            Egyptian Ugly Dogs -- 55

              I hope it's a sell out.

Wiggins goes off, Early Goes off. We win by 21.

Hopefully it is a dunk fest. That would be a nice show for everyone.

Great minds think alike. It was just this morning that I remembered this loss and it really stung us like a bellicose wasp and hurt our feelers. If I recall correctly, SIU came in here missing around 3 starters. Sound familiar? On paper, it appeared to be a cake walk and pure logic defied the end result.

This loss was more painful than my second trip in 2 days to the same buffet. When they saw me coming, they flipped the "open' sign to closed. Now how is that supposed to make a feller feel?

In Kung Wu 777.77 it says something like"You shant take a game with foes lightly, not even at home. Why? The game is played between the lines on the hardwood floor, not on paper."

Thus, we will be prepared, and we will not be caught unawares. This is our house and 15-1 sounds superb and much better than a swiift kick in the teeth. The Good Doc is spot on with this history reminder from not so many moons ago.

Was that only two years ago. For some reason just doesn't seem that recent. Perhaps because it's one of those games you want to forget as a fan.

That was the last game I went to and I'm afraid to go back. I couldn't believe it.

So now we finally find out what the problem was. :highly_amused:

We need to get you back out to a game to forever remove that tainted feeling.

This game happened in a snow storm. We were up and down at that time. Later on that year, we began to put the pedal to the metal and won the NIT Championship.

I still think we have some guys who saw they were deep bench at the beginning of the year who now see opportunities to show that they can play some ball. I think that is going to remove the "trap" factor from this game.

It could get ugly, because there's no one Marshall can put on the floor who doesn't have a point to make with the coaches and doesn't have the talent to do that.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
