I know it was just because Bruce was out in Arizona, but man I really enjoyed having Mark and Bob call the game the other night. I really wish Cox would make it permanent. For once our broadcasters seemed to be actually pulling for us—even though one of them was a KU guy, I actually gained some insight into what was going on in the game, the broadcasters knew what they were talking about and didn't constantly screw up players names etc., the play-by-play guy wasn't trying to show off his vocabulary and I didn't have to listen to the color guy drone on and on without actually saying anything (and I actually respected what he had to say).

Hopefully Bruce will make Tulsa his permanent home soon and this can become a regular thing, until then I'll keep trying to sync the radio to my TV.

Ewing did call Armstead, Armstrong a few times... But it was better as a whole over Bruce and Craig.

Seriously, how hard is it for Bob or someone in the truck to give him the correct pronunciation during a media timeout?

I watched the replay and thought it was better too. Ewing should know alot more about the game. Hopefully the mispronunciation of names will stop if he does any more of them. Maybe it is time for a change in broadcasting as well.

I really wish he would replace Ted Woodward on the Locker Room Show. I know more about the Shockers and the game in 5 minutes of listening with him than what Ted has rambled about in 5 seasons.

Speaking of changes, I wonder why the Coaches Show is done in studio now and not on location at Applebee's anymore..

Agreed. We used to listen to it on the way home, at least until the signal faded. Now it's just a way for people to call in and complain about Early's drawstring to someone who has no influence.
