WSU vs. BRADLEY Predictions and Pregame Discussions
Has anyone noticed that KC seems more optimistic this year?
Who is KC ? Surely you are not talking about the Royals Or the Chiefs .If that is Kadeem Coleby, why would he be more optimistic ? He hasn't even played yet.

@KC Shox:, our board's legendary but loveable recovering pessimist.

Au contraire mon frere' I'm still going to keep it real and tell it how I see it. However, when it comes to teams we have no business losing to, I'm expecting cases of whoop ass to be opened. Bradley is a prime example. Now, if they lose to these clowns, it will be status quo in your eyes from me.

Bradley is beatable and should be winnable. A couple things though. It is a Valley road game. You NEVER know what can happen in a Valley road game. I have a feeling their team and crowd will be pumped up by their 2-0 start, even though it was against a couple bottom dwellers, SIU and Drake. That'll make it difficult. They still might remember last year's 30 point shellacking at home. They have a couple motivating factors. However, we've been road warriors. Just saw today that we're 22-4 on the road the last 3 years, second only to Kansas. That's quite a stat.
The other thing is that Bradley is improved. They are winning games and staying competitive against good teams. A loss here isn't the end of the world. I wouldn't be thrilled with one, but wouldn't be surprised by it either. I think the majority of posters we're hoping we would get out of this string of conference games without Carl with at least 2 losses. Well, 2-0 so far, with 1 coming against a team a few had doubts to (UNI). One loss here shouldn't allow yourself to go "status quo" unless you're just ignorant. Come on KC.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

They gave Michigan a good game. This one may be tougher than it appears. I think it will be tougher than either Drake or UNI.
WSU - 63
Bradley - 59
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
This game would scare me if Bradley had Egolf. Coach Ford is doing a really nice job in Peoria and I think they'll finally be back to regularly being a top 50ish type team in 2 years.
Without Egolf, however, I think we can pull away like we did in Des Moines. Probably not a blowout, but not a nailbiter either.
