Technical at Tenn was DUMB and upset the staff.

To followup in the next game with another one is "UNACCEPTABLE". He has been given punitive action and told it was not allowed and was super secret double probation or in his word "ON THIN ICE". He said he hopes he heard what he said and acts like he should because this has not ever been a issue in Marshall's coaching career and "he's certainly not going to start it". He's addressed it and it seems to be a trend and he is going to nip it in the bud right here.

The guy (or guys) who may really feel the brunt of 3G's wrath towards Mal, may be the guy or guys who go up against Mal at practice after 3G has made his point. I don't think Mal will have any problem at all dealing with whatever 3G serves up, but he seems like the kind of competitor who will funnel that, shall we say motivation, into a high degree of intensity. Let's hope that carries over into the games and Mal makes his statements with his play. He is certainly capable of doing just that.

I agree with this, and I am afraid for UNI. Not only will mal have every reason to be great in this game, but the rest of the team might respond similarly if they are at all involved.
If I watched my coach unload on someone, I would be on my very best and most intense behavior as well.

Following an energizing win into a hardcore set of practices with a big chip on their shoulders (chance to win starting spots plus lowered expectations from the masses)... I am really looking forward to the game to see what it translates into.

Yeah he wanted to know why you weren't at the last game.

I thought I would try and contribute as much as I could and e-mailed the WSU's Director of Bands to see if the department can get the lyrics on the big board. I even offered to donate copies of the lyrics to at least the student section if the big board was not a possibility. I figured with the size of the student section it wouldn't cost to much (Ha Ha) but I could be wrong. Anyhow I hope combined efforts pay huge dividends with the chant really catching on!
Thought I would bump this....while the band director took all the glory and credit in the article for getting the words up on the scoreboard, it was Shockernet who really made it happen.

Let's be like the team and not worry about who gets the glory and credit, just worry about getting the job done.

If I was really worried about that, the author would've heard from me by now via email and twitter.
