I'm 33, if I remember right I believe I found the ezboard Shockernet site around my sophomore year of college which would have been in 1999. I learned all about how incredible Tyrone Shoelace's cross-over dribble was from reading that board! :) That would put my Shockernet membership at 13-14 years now. Boy does time fly!!!!

With 163 votes, the biggest age group is the 32-38 group.
If you don't count the under 18 age group or the age groups 71 and above, then the 54-60 group is the smallest age group. I was in that age group when I first joined SN, but now I've moved up.Last edited by 1979Shocker; December 26, 2012, 08:25 PM.

GO SHOX!"Ralph Miller was one of the finest coaches in the history of intercollegiate basketball. His teams were always fundamentally sound, team oriented, well conditioned, and ran both their offense and defense with great patience. I know of no coach whose teams competed against his, whether it be at Wichita State, Iowa, or Oregon State, who did not have great respect for him."—John Wooden

As has been mentioned already my goal was to see how strong the younger alumni group is...which would be 25-31 compared to the 32-38 group. I'm almost 35 and most all my friends are around that age, we've noticed the alumni under the age of 30 seems to be lacking which surprises us because many of them would have been at WSU during the height of our success with Turgeon and the S16...while most of the 32-38 group endured some of the worst basketball in Shocker history while in college.
But I'm actually surprised at how diverse the posters are on here. I didn't expect to see that many posters over the age of 60.
