  • Tulsa v Creighton

On Espn 3. Looks like Doug is struggling some and by struggling I mean he doesn't have 20 at the break. Nobody else is though, kind of a blow out.

Cu wins 71-54. For those who don't remember the Shocks beat Tulsa 86-60.

Cu actually played some very good defense in the first half. In the second half they kind of digressed a little bit.

I watched the first 12 minutes. A really sloppy game by both teams, but especially Creighton. I wouldn't give CU much credit for Tulsa only having 7 points. They had several missed open or makeable shots. Doug McD was more of a liability than an all-American. After watching CU several times it appears that Manigatt usually sucks. Chatman however is much better than expected. Dingman and Wragge have the ability to hurt you on certain nights. Greg E. is a pretty consitant plus for them and Gibbs is a glue guy.

McDermott struggled yet he still scored 16. . . I wouldn't go so far as to say he was a liability. He had some good passes out of the post to find open shooters on a night where he wasn't hitting them. They're multi-dimensional and we're going to need our A+ game to beat them.
