Don't forget the portal as we good very well lose CW. Would be nice to know where we will be from the start.

Didn't forget the portal. The only number we know for sure and now is what my above post askes. Under old rules, I believe that number is sizable, and it may very well only get worse.

I really thought 2023 would be the plateau of total annual transfers with the end of the Covid waiver. However, the NCAA caving and courts intervening with unlimited transfers, immediate eligibility, and the Wild Wild West of NIL..

PM hinted on the coaches show that we may have more coming back than it looks on paper. I’m guessing he’s going to lobby for another year for Meeks and Bosnjak.

Hope it isn't the wrong kind of "paper"...

I bought some early stock in Bosnjak, but have since told my broker to SELL. Hope I'm wrong and he comes back and makes me eat my words. No opinion on Meeks, but he does seem injury prone.

Hope we can retain both and go after Chronister with all the available NIL we have

I can foresee an off-season of retaining Bosnjak and Meeks, losing Washington, and filling in the rest...zzzzzzzzzzzzz

                  Dumbass honestly (not you, him)

he didn’t learn his lesson this year from last? We kept all the players from a horrid losing season, got absolutely railed this year. We’ve not seen Bosniak do super well, at least not well enough to really justify keeping. Meeks is obviously super injury prone, who knows what he can really do after all that and not really playing.

he’s blamed these losses on players, and yet wants to keep them around.

somebody please explain this to me. It’s the most infuriating thing about loser mills.

in my eyes, Zion pipkin and joy and cw are probably the only remaining must keeps. Though we don’t even really know beyond cw because he’s not played the others enough to really know, and judging on his ability to evaluate talent, can’t even feel confident that practice is representative of their abilities.

I guess I'm in the minority on this. Second year Bosnjak is likely much better than the current version. It's his first year playing in the states. If there's one thing I'm confident in, it's Acy's ability to develop a big man with back to the basket skills. He can also stretch the floor. He's not going to be a bruiser that replaces QB, but I think he could be the ideal center to play in a 4 or 5 out offense that opens the floor.

Meeks is a versatile 4 that can stretch the floor. I don't think we'll get anyone better in the portal, and our current options at the 4 need more development.

We haven't lost games because our 4/5's weren't playing well. We've lost games because our guard play has been horrendous.

Back in November, I thought Bosnjak looked like a decent player. I'm not going to go back and look at the stats to back that up, but I'm just relying on my own memory of my own subjective opinion.

Not sure what's happened, but he looks considerably worse now.

That all said, we've got so many holes to fill that bringing anyone back probably helps. Mills will still have to recruit at least 6 dudes. If we're planning on Bos being the starter, we're ****ed.

If Bamba comes back it would appear to be a wasted scholarship.

So Meeks won't be given another medical redshirt because... he got one last year? Seems silly.

TJ Williams interests me because I think he would stay at WSU through a coaching change so we could actually see him develop as a Shocker.

Meeks may not want a waiver at this point and just to get on with his life.
